Welcome to my food page! I’m a recipe developer and food photographer based in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area.

I love food and photography, so it was only natural that I combined the two over the years. I started by photographing restaurant profiles while working as a newspaper photojournalist. Then, while living in Italy for almost a decade and a half, I was surrounded by produce markets, homestyle cooking, and restaurants, from the humble osteria to the fine ristorante, and I ate it all up (pun intended). Writing an Italian food, language, and culture blog over the years gave me opportunities to create recipes and share my images. I don’t always cook Italian, but it has a special place in my heart.

I spend time each week bringing my ideas to life, making them look beautiful on film (well, in digital files), and feeding family members, who tell me they’re very happy I’m in this line of work.
