I had a great time meeting this American family for their photo shoot in downtown Turin. I really love documenting families while they walk around and explore the city and do things they ordinarily do like play in the fountain and have ice cream. I feel like these kinds of photos give you a more real look at people’s lives. Of course I took a few posed family portraits as well. The children were relaxed in front of the camera and very sweet, and after our long walk they sat down and enjoyed an ice cream from their favorite ice cream parlor next to the Gran Madre church.
